Your Reviews of Arbury Hall
June Miller (13 March 2007)
I have visited Arbury Hall since I was about 8 years old and I'm now 66 years old. When young I visited it about 5 times a year, on foot as we didn't have a car, the 'long' walk up the drive was part of the attraction of the place. It's not so enjoyable to walk now as one has to keep moving because of the cars but it won't stop me and my family coming! I just wish it was open more to the ordinary public, on foot, like it was years ago when 'old' Lady Newdegate was in charge and I think there should be sandwiches, as well as cakes, in the cafe. I do think that the present family have done a lot to make the place even lovelier but I miss the 'buy plants' garden!

This is a beautifully hidden away magnificent hall. Fantastic gardens and wonderfully gothic arches. Only visited by chance will definitely call again - wonderful pot of tea!! Visiting from Sutton - Surrey.
