Athelhampton House & Gardens Description
The Great Hall of Athelhampton House was built in 1485, and was greatly added to throughout the centuries to become the house it now is. The formal gardens were built between 1891 - 1899 by Alfred Cart de Lafontaine, the most famous of these is The Great Court, with its eye-catching pyramid shaped yew trees.
