Brocket Hall Summary

Brocket Hall Description

Brocket Hall is one of England’s finest stately homes with a long and intriguing history. Its fine architecture, oil paintings and antique furnishings make Brocket Hall the ultimate destination for both corporate and private events, all of which can be combined with golf on two of the South of England's finest Championship golf courses and Palmerston Golf Academy.

Situated in 543 acres of mature parkland, affording stunning views over the Broadwater Lake, Brocket Hall is only 45 minutes from central London and close to all international airports. Being available on an exclusive use basis only, providing excellent meeting, incentive and entertainment facilities to include weddings, our guests are able to meet and relax in a completely discreet environment, where traditional Butlers look after every need.

No other can claim to have been the home to two British prime ministers, played host to George IV and witnessed the infamous Lady Caroline Lamb introduce the Waltz to England in their Ballroom.

Brocket Hall prides itself on standards of excellence. No less than you would expect from somewhere that has entertained kings and queens, presidents and prime ministers for over 300 years.

Weddings:

Those looking for a wedding location in the south of England that sorts the men from the boys would be hard put to find anything more outstanding than Brocket Hall. A sense of relaxed grandeur draws on a beautifully furnished Regency Hall, surrounded by extensive and well cared for parkland, created by Capability Brown.

A sense of romance is never far away. Such vital concerns as the ceremony itself and the wedding breakfast that customarily follows can be left in the hands of experts once the outline requirements are known, with a regular dialogue for reassurance.

Residential:

Up to 30 luxurious en-suite guest rooms, all with a sense of history woven into the furnishings, are available in the Hall for those wishing to stay, lending an even more 'family' feel to weddings and a suggestion of community to corporate events. A further 16 king-sized bedrooms are available nearby at Melbourne Lodge.

Corporate:

The Boardroom is fitted with custom built furnishing and equipment well able to cope with the demanding specifications of the World's major organisations and political conferences that are amongst those who find Brocket Hall exactly what they need. If it's not there, chances are they can resolve it efficiently and without fuss.

Activities:

A long list of activities for those groups whose interests are of a more recreational nature ranges from 4 x 4 off road driving, through longbow archery, pistol shooting and radio controlled cars to human table football. Individual group activities take in clay pigeon shooting, traditional archery, croquet and tennis, golf and fishing.

Dining:

Whatever the activity it's bound to generate a good appetite, bringing into play yet another of Brocket Hall's areas of excellence. Choose from the grand setting of the Ballroom or the more intimate settings afforded by the Dining Room or the Family Dining Room. And of course there is also the Michelin starred 'Auberge du Lac' by the edge of the lake.

Events:

Special occasions such as Diamonds and Pearls, in association with Chopard and Zelley's; The Rat Pack at Brocket Hall when guests danced the night away with jazz, swing and glamour, as well as Michelin starred dining, all in the Ballroom, and Murder Mystery Weekends are pretty well par for the course at Brocket Hall, where elegance meets the evening with mutual understanding.

Private Events:

The customary round of private events such as anniversaries, parties, themed weekends, house parties, dinner parties, barbecues and other outdoor dining occasions are all welcomed with the sort of luxurious service and discrete charm that one would expect to find in an English country residence.
