Ilam Park Description
A beautiful area of open park and woodland, running on both banks of the River Manifold and with spectacular views towards Dovedale.
What remains of Ilam Hall is a youth hostel and NT visitor centre, tea-room and shop. A small garden has been created on the site of the old Italian Garden situated below the stableblock.
Opening Times - 2011
Park, Dovedale and Manifold Valley:
- Open all year: daily, dawn - till dusk
Manifold Tea-room & Park:
- 2nd January - 28th February: Saturday & Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm
- 1st March - 29th June: Friday - Tuesday, 11 am - 5 pm
- 30th June - 31st August: daily, 11 am - 5 pm
- 3rd September - 31st October: Friday - Tuesday, 11 am - 5 pm
- 6th November - 19th December: Saturday & Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm
Park Shop:
- 2nd January - 28th February: Saturday - Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm
- 1st March - 31st October: daily, 11 am - 5 pm
- 5th November - 19th December: Saturday - Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm
Park Caravan Site:
