The Building of Bath Collection Description
The Countess of Huntingdon’s Chapel was built in 1765 in the Gothic style. The Bath Preservation Trust acquired this building in 1983 and embarked on significant restoration and has been in use as a museum since, it is currently known as the Building of Bath Collection.
The Bath Model is on display here, a very detailed architectural model illustrating the layout of the Georgian City Centre. There is also display about the life of Lady Huntingdon and a unique collection that illuminates the rich architectural history of Bath and the men who created this beautiful Georgian Spa town.
