Weald & Downland Open Air Museum Description
The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum is one of the country's leading museum's of original historic buildings and rural life and is set in a 50 acre park in the South Downs. More than 500 years of architectural heritage is represented, including bayleaf medieval farmstead, a 17th century working watermill and the Downland Gridshell. Visitors can also see traditional farming in action, a Tudor kitchen at work, Shire horses carrying out seasonal tasks and rural craft demonstrations.

- 3rd January - 10th February: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10.30 am - 4 pm
- 11th February - 24th March: daily, 10.30 am - 4 pm
- 25th March - 27th October: daily , 10.30 am - 6 pm
- 28th October - 23rd December, daily, 10.30 am - 4 pm
- 24th & 25th December: Closed:
