View of Holkham Hall, Norfolk

Holkham Hall, Norfolk

Conceived by the First Earl of Leicester, this Palladian Hall was his vision of an Italian villa on the north Norfolk Coast. In this beautiful, unspoilt part of the UK, the Holkham Estate has lots to share, from visiting the house and its collections to strolling through the deer park or taking in the golden sands of Holkham Beach. 2016 sees further developments at Holkham, including refurbishments to their cafe and shop and the launch of the new Field to Fork Exhibition, celebrating the estate's close association with agriculture. If that wasn’t enough, the old Victorian Bowling Alley has recently been converted and opened as an events and weddings space.

Mrs. Hudson loves a Great British holiday. You can view her recommendations for places to visit and keep up to date with all our Great British news on our blog.
